Welcome to Style Q (operated by STYLE-Q PRIVATE LIMITED). By accessing or using our mobile application and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Style Q mobile application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must refrain from using our services.

2. Service Description

Style Q is a marketplace platform that connects customers with independent salon and beauty service providers (referred to as "Vendors" or "Service Providers"). Through our platform, we facilitate:

  • Discovery and browsing of salon and beauty services
  • Online booking and appointment scheduling
  • Secure processing of advance booking payments
  • Communication between customers and vendors
  • Submission and management of reviews and ratings

Important: Style Q operates solely as an intermediary platform. We do not provide salon or beauty services directly. All services are delivered by independent third-party vendors.

3. User Eligibility

To access and use our services, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age, or use the platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials
  • You must have a valid mobile number and email address for communication and verification purposes

4. Booking and Payment

4.1 Advance Payment

  • You are required to pay a minimum advance booking amount (as specified by the service provider) to confirm your appointment
  • The advance amount is refundable only if the cancellation is made within the vendor’s specified time window or if the salon/parlour cancels the booking
  • Advance payments are processed through secure payment gateways (PhonePe, UPI, Cards)
  • A platform fee may be charged for facilitating the transaction

4.2 Balance Payment

The remaining service amount must be paid directly to the vendor at the salon/parlor after completion of the service. Accepted payment methods are at the vendor’s discretion.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Customer Cancellations

  • Free cancellation is allowed within the vendor’s specified time window (typically 2–24 hours before the appointment)
  • Late cancellation charges may apply, ranging from 20% to 100% of the advance amount
  • Failure to attend the appointment (no-show) may result in automatic cancellation and applicable charges as per the vendor’s policy

5.2 Vendor Cancellations

If a vendor cancels your confirmed booking, you will receive a full refund of the advance amount, including any platform fees paid.

5.3 Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days
  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method used
  • Bank processing times may vary (typically 3–10 working days)

6. Cancellation & Rebooking Policy

Currently, rescheduling is not supported. Please refer to the policy below:

  • No Rescheduling: Existing bookings cannot be rescheduled
  • Cancellation Required: To modify the date or time, users must cancel the current booking
  • Rebooking: A new booking must be created with a fresh payment after cancellation
  • Refund eligibility will be determined based on the vendor’s cancellation policy
  • All bookings are subject to availability at the vendor’s salon

7. Vendor Relationship and Liability

7.1 Independent Service Providers

All salons and service providers listed on Style Q are independent third-party businesses. Style Q does not employ, manage, or control these vendors, including their operations, service quality, pricing (except advance booking amounts), or service delivery.

7.2 Service Quality and Responsibility

While we perform basic verification before onboarding vendors, Style Q does not guarantee the quality, safety, suitability, or legality of services provided. Any concerns or disputes regarding services must be addressed directly with the respective vendor.

Disclaimer: Style Q functions solely as a technology platform that facilitates connections between customers and service providers. We shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or dissatisfaction arising from services rendered by vendors.

8. Settlement with Vendors

  • Advance payments are settled with vendors daily between 11:00 PM and 12:00 AM
  • Settlements are processed only when the minimum payable amount reaches ₹200
  • If the minimum isn’t reached, the remaining amount will be paid within three days during the regular settlement time.
  • The advance amount is refundable only if the booking is canceled within the free cancellation period or canceled by the service provider
  • Settlements are processed via automated daily transfers to the vendor’s registered bank account
  • Platform commission and payment gateway charges are deducted prior to settlement
  • Settlements for disputed bookings may be temporarily withheld until resolution
  • Bank processing times may vary; funds are typically credited within 1–2 business days

9. User Conduct

By using the platform, you agree that you will NOT:

  • Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information
  • Make fraudulent bookings or repeatedly fail to attend scheduled appointments (no-shows)
  • Post abusive, defamatory, offensive, or inappropriate content, including reviews
  • Attempt to bypass or circumvent platform fees, payments, or processes
  • Reverse engineer, modify, disrupt, or tamper with the application or its systems
  • Use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes

10. Account Termination

You may request deletion of your account at any time through the Preferences section of the application. Upon account deletion:

  • All active bookings will be automatically canceled
  • Any unused credits, balances, or rewards will be forfeited
  • You will lose access to your booking history, preferences, and account data
  • This action is permanent and cannot be undone or reversed

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. The collection, use, storage, and protection of your personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

We may collect and process the following information:

  • Name
  • Mobile number
  • Gender
  • Location data (for service availability and recommendations)
  • Payment-related information (processed securely via PhonePe payment gateways)
  • Device and usage information for performance and security purposes

12. Intellectual Property

All content available on the Style Q platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and design elements, is the intellectual property of STYLE-Q PRIVATE LIMITED or is licensed to us.

Any unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial exploitation of this content without prior written permission is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Style Q and STYLE-Q PRIVATE LIMITED shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the platform.

  • The quality, safety, suitability, or outcome of services provided by vendors
  • Any loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities
  • Platform interruptions, technical issues, bugs, or downtime
  • Any actions, omissions, or conduct of third-party vendors

14. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, claim, or concern arising out of or in connection with the use of our services, the following process shall apply:

  1. You must first contact our support team at support@styleq.store with complete details of the issue
  2. We will review and make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter within 7–10 business days
  3. If the issue remains unresolved, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with applicable laws of India

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.

16. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update, modify, or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time at our sole discretion. Any changes will become effective immediately upon being posted on the platform.

Your continued use of the application after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions. We encourage users to review this section periodically to stay informed of any updates.
